The Ankeny Art Center is pleased to present the 32st annual Santa’s North Pole Village Craft Sale, Saturday November 2nd from 9 am to 4 pm.
This is one of the largest and most popular craft shows in the entire Midwest and features hand-crafted items such as jewelry, furniture, clothing and holiday decor. There are about 300 crafters and vendors in attendance at this event, from fine art crafters to jewelry, candle makers and more. These vendors come from out-of-town and out-of-state and set-up shop in all three Ankeny middle school buildings. Local organizations provide meals and drinks and the shuttle will take you from location to location all day for only a dollar. The cafeteria opens at 8 am and there is an array of food vendors throughout the event as well.
With more than 300 vendors at this annual show, everyone is sure to get a head start and find that special or unique gift for the holiday season. Skip the larger and more costly venues and head to this huge in-door shopping expo and craft fair offering a wide variety of unique and wonderful items. Store It America will be providing shopping bags for the first 2,500 shoppers with a paid admission. Shopping bags will be handed out at the Ankeny Art Center booth in all three buildings while supplies last.
Santa’s North Pole Village Craft Sale is the Ankeny Art Center’s largest and primary fundraiser of the year. This event began several decades ago as a means to raise operational funds for the Ankeny Art Center as well as financial support for dozens of other local non-profit groups. This particular event brings 5,000 to 10,000 visitors to the community each year, along with supporting other local non-profit groups.
