Celebrate National Adoption Awareness Month at the WDM Public
Library on Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 2:00-4:30. Learn about domestic,
international and special needs adoptions, hear stories from adoptive parents
about their adoption journeys and learn how to become an Adoption
Advocate! This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by
the Adoption Center of Iowa, a new affiliation of Adoption Connection and
Adoption Associates of Iowa, both of Ankeny. For more information, contact

Donations for the Adoption Connection Annual Beanie Baby Drive can also
be dropped off at this event. (New beanies only please.)
These animals are given to the children in Polk and surrounding counties on their adoption day to make it extra special! Beanie Baby donations are also accepted year-round at the Adoption Connection office at 114 NW 5th
