Adult-Only Swim Tonight at Cascade Falls: This and More in Ankeny's Five Things for Thursday

1) Tai Chi in Ankeny's Hawkeye Park
Join Ankeny certified instructors Deanna, Kim and Lisa for today at Ankeny's . Practice starts at 7 a.m. and anyone is welcome to attend and stay as long as they want.

2) Tot Time at the Library
will be at the today, starting at 9:30 a.m. Tot Time is a time set aside for "tots" and moms or caregivers to gather at the library to play and get to know one another. The event is held in the library meeting room.

3) A June Affair at OLIH Catholic Church
Are you an active older adult? Do you know one? Attend today, an active older adult expo held at from 12:30-3:30 p.m. The expo will include exhibitors offering information on recreation, educational opportunities, older adult services and health care. The event is free and open to the public.
4) Adult-Only Swimming, Anyone?
By popular demand, the city of Ankeny is having two nights of adult only swim at . The pool will be reserved for anyone 18 years and older. Admission will be reduced to $5 from 8-10 p.m. tonight, as well as on July 19.
If the turnout is good, the city will add additional nights. Season passes will be accepted.
