American Workshop To Open 2nd Location in Ankeny!

American Workshop is excited to announce that they are expanding to a second location in Ankeny, IA. The Ankeny location is roughly 5,600 square feet of D.I.Y. and woodworking heaven, featuring many of the same kinds of machines and hand tools at the Burnsville, MN location. Along with the equipment, American Workshop in Ankeny will have expert staff on hand to help with any D.I.Y. or woodworking project.

President and CEO of American Workshop, Tim Watts, expressed his excitement to get a second location up and running. “Ankeny is a great town, and we are happy to be opening an American Workshop in the community. We think the shop will fit right in with the growing Ankeny area.”

American Workshop is also excited to work with its new partner, Joe Morrissey, of Morrissey Trim Carpentry. Not only is Joe a partner, but he will also be overseeing shop operations at the Ankeny location. Joe brings an extensive woodworking and business history with him that makes a partnership between American Workshop and him a fantastic fit.

For anyone who wants to learn woodworking or how to do D.I.Y. projects, the Ankeny location will offer classes for anyone to attend. As well as classes, American Workshop in Ankeny will have opportunities for customers to schedule private one-on-one lessons for extra help.
