• DMACC partners with Ankeny school district to offer on-site early childhood education training • Iowa Capital Dispatch (iowacapitaldispatch.com) — Ankeny high school students can now take in-person early childhood education classes at Terrace Learning Center through a new partnership between DMACC and the Ankeny Community School District. The program lets teens earn college credits and a certificate that meets Child Development Associate education requirements before graduation, giving them real classroom experience and a clearer path into local preschool and childcare careers.
   

• Accumold to Expand Production Capabilities With New Building (mpo-mag.com) — A major Ankeny manufacturer, Accumold, is nearly doubling its production capacity with a new $33.25 million building at its local campus, bringing about 150 new jobs over the coming years. Construction starts this month and is expected to finish in early 2028, with all production remaining at the Ankeny facility that ships precision micro components to customers in more than 30 countries.
   

• Norwalk Takes Over In Latest Iowa High School Girls Volleyball Rankings (newsbreak.com) — Ankeny and Ankeny Christian volleyball fans have plenty to cheer about, with Ankeny ranked third in Class 5A and Ankeny Christian holding the top spot in Class 1A. The latest Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union rankings also reshuffle several other contenders statewide, including Norwalk's rise to No. 1 in Class 4A, setting up intriguing late‑season matchups for central Iowa teams.
