On Sunday, February 10 at 8:00 AM, CVS/pharmacy will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its new store in Ankeny located at 104 East First St., which is the Company’s first store in the Des Moines market. Several state officials plan to attend the ribbon-cutting.
As part of Sunday’s grand opening celebration, CVS/pharmacy will have free face painting for kids from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and free coffee and bagels for customers. CVS pharmacists and pharmacy staff will also be available to conduct free blood pressure screenings and medication consultations.
CVS/pharmacy’s new Ankeny store features a full-service pharmacy with double-lane drive thru pharmacy window service, as well as a complete line of health and beauty products, general merchandise and food, and digital photo processing. Customers can also take advantage of the CVS ExtraCare rewards program, which offers ExtraBucks that are earned by shopping in-store or at www.cvs.com.
The store will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
