On With Life Fundraiser Provides More Than $52,000

Helping Persons Living With Brain Injury Get On With Life

On With Life, Comprehensive Inpatient Brain Injury Rehabilitation Facility in Ankeny is proud to announce that the 6th Annual On With Life Golf Outing and Silent Auction brought in over $52,000 for On With Life programs for persons living with brain injury.

With the funds raised, On With Life is now able to purchase specialized therapeutic equipment and enhancements that speed the recovery and improve the comfort of those whom they are privileged to serve. Heather DeJoode, the honorary chair of this event, added, “I have not only seen the value of the equipment purchased with funds from previous events, I have experienced it. The staff at On With Life helped me get my life back by helping me relearn how to do the most basic activities of daily life from eating and drinking to standing and walking. Today I am completely independent.” None of this would have been possible without your generous support.
