Vintage Hills at Prairie Trail Invites Veterans and Families to Veterans Affairs Benefits Presentation

 Vintage Hills at Prairie Trail is hosting a Veterans Affairs (VA) Aid Benefits presentation on April 11 at 3 p.m. at 1275 SW State Street in Ankeny. Veterans and veterans’ family members are invited to learn how to claim well-deserved benefits.

Bob Steben, Executive Officer of the Department of Veterans Affairs, will provide an overview of the benefits and qualification requirements.

Two million people across the nation qualify for VA benefits, totaling up to $23,388 per year tax free. “All veterans, whether cooks or in combat, deserve their benefits,” says Steben. “I’m surprised to hear so many Veterans argue that someone else deserves the benefits, but in reality, they are there for all who have served.”
