Register This Month for Ankeny Alumni Association Events: Registration is required by July 1st for two upcoming Ankeny Alumni Association events: the Tenth Annual Ankeny Alumni Association Golf Tourney and the Ankeny Alumni Association Annual Banquet. Both events will be held on Friday, July 12th during Ankeny's SummerFest. Register for both events at the Association's website: www.ankenyalumni.org or email alumni@ankenyalumni.org. The golf tournament is open to the public. Held at Otter Creek Golf Course, check-in is at 8 a.m. with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, 4-person best shot. $70 per person covers 18 holes, cart, lunch, flight prizes; a $10,000 Hole-In-One Prize is sponsored by Brian Donaghy and Joel Donaghy/Donaghy-Kempton Insurors. The alumni banquet is open to alumni and guests. Held at OLIH Catholic Church, check-in is at 5 p.m. sharp with 5:30 p.m. dinner. A "Happy 100th Birthday!" theme will celebrate the 100th graduation from Ankeny Schools with the Class of 2013. Prizes, surprises will be offered, along with a catered dinner by Hickory Park and cash bar. Registration deadline: July 1st.
