Semitrailer Spills Pudding, Catches Fire After Tuesday Crash on I-35
A semitrailer truck crash and fire was blocking the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 just north of the Huxley/Cambridge exits on Tuesday, according to the Des Moines Register.

Traffic is now moving freely on southbound Interstate 35 between Ames and Ankeny following a semitrailer crash and fire this afternoon.
According to Bryon Houlgrave of the Des Moines Register, a semitrailer truck carrying pudding and food items crashed Tuesday afternoon just north of the Huxley/Cambridge exit near the weigh station.
At one point, both lanes were blocked by the accident.

Anyone who's afternoon commute typically uses the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 between Ames and Ankeny might want to find an alternative route.
According to the Des Moines Register, a semitrailer truck crash and fire that occured just north of the Huxley/Cambridge exit resulted in the blockage of at least one southbound lane and was impairing traffic flow.
A tow-truck was sent to move the semi out of traffic lanes, said the Register's story, which was published about an hour ago, but the fire could delay that process.
