The Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce with the support of the business community donated 185 pairs of mittens and gloves to Ankeny Community Education on Tuesday, January 7th. All mittens and gloves donated will be distributed to those in need through the Ankeny Service Center, The Ankeny Klothing Exchange (TAKE) Program and the Ankeny Community School District.
The Chamber launched a special program titled “Smitten for Mittens” this holiday season in its efforts to rally local businesses and patrons together to serve the Ankeny community.
The Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce exists to promote economic development, strengthen our business climate, and enhance the quality of life in the Ankeny area.
