The city of Ankeny has released its December building permit report.
In total, the city issued 83 building permits during the month of December, or a total just over $10.3 million in planned construction. This amount is down 35 permits from December 2011.
At the end of this calendar year, the city of Ankeny issued 2,082 building permits. This number is up 507 permits from 2011.
