Ankeny Business Named One of the Country's Fastest Growing Companies

One Ankeny business is among those in the country being hailed as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States.

, located at 2805 Snyder Blvd., was one of four Iowa companies who made the top 500 of the 2012 Inc. 5000 list. The company, which came in at no. 327, specializes in designing, manufacturing and selling American-style collegiate and licensed apparel for men, women and children.

Thirty-eight Iowa businesses were named to the complete list, reports the Des Moines Register.

The company was founded in 1997. In 2008, the company recorded $2 million in revenue. In 2011, that figured jumped to $24.7 million, a 1,153-percent increase.

The magazine also ranked the company no. 27 in the consumer and products and services industry.
