Ankeny Christian Boys Basketball Team Moves On to State Tournament
The Eagles defeated Murray in the Class 1A substate final on Saturday night.
For the second time ever, the Ankeny Christian Academy boys basketball team is moving on to the Iowa high school state tournament.
The Eagles defeated Murray, 50-37, in the substate finals Saturday night at the Urbandale High School gym. The Eagles are now 24-1 and headed into Wells Fargo Arena where they will play North Tama-Traer (25-1).
The game will be Monday, March 4, at 3:45 p.m.
