The play, written by playwright Brian Mitchell from Grinnell, is directed by Doug Moon.

What's it about? Here's a brief summary courtesy of ACT's website:

This just might have been the worse week in George Thomas’ life and to top it all off, he turns 50 on Saturday! Through these trying days, George will discover the wonders of family, the responsibilities of parenthood, and the results of his latest physical. The Big Five-Oh is a hilarious, sometimes touching account of a grown man coming to terms with his age, his relationship with his son, and his future.

Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Adult tickets are $15. Senior citizens are $12 and kids 18 and under are $10.
