Ankeny Community Theatre Announces Summer Drama Camps

Ankeny Community Theatre is pleased to announce the 2015 Children’s Summer Drama Camps. Several exciting educational opportunities are available for youth in Kindergarten through 12th grade. In addition to production camps which culminate in performances, youth can explore creative drama camps and workshops which focus on improving acting skills and increasing knowledge of theater and the world around them. New choices this year include Magic Academy, Playvention, The Magic of Mime, and Imagine, Invent, Infomerical! Returning is the ever popular music camp which is expanded to include more ages and Backstage Business which allows youth to explore the technical aspects of theater. New opportunities for teen actors in Grades 9-12 will bring a new excitement to the theater camps.

Sessions run June 15 - 19, June 22 - 27, and July 6 - 10. Half day and full day camps are available. Camps will be held at Lutheran Church of Hope Ankeny and at Prairie Ridge Church.
