Ankeny Dance Students Get a Taste of Broadway
A cast member of a Broadway musical took time out of his schedule to teach a couple hours of choreography to students at Ankeny Dance and Performing Arts Academy.
A little bit of Broadway came to last week when a member of the touring Broadway production of West Side Story met with students and taught a two-hour master's class featuring choreography from the musical.
The cast member's name is Thayne Jasperson, and he just landed a role in the Disney Broadway production of Newsies. He also has several movie credits including parts in High School Musical and High School Musical 2.
