Ankeny Driver's License Station Closed Temporarily
The station was closed Tuesday due to mechanical problems, according to an Iowa Department of Transportation news release.

The Iowa Department of Transportation’s Motor Vehicle Division facility in Ankeny has closed due to mechanical problems. The facility will remain closed for the rest of today. The public will be notified when the building is reopened.
Services provided at this facility include driver’s license issuance, vehicle and motor carrier services, and motor vehicle enforcement.

The Iowa DOT’s renewal-only driver’s license facility at 2339 Euclid Ave. in Des Moines remains open. Persons needing other driver’s license services who are unable to wait until the Ankeny facility reopens may go to any of the other driver’s license issuance locations in the state.
