Ankeny Hy-Vee Drug Store to Hold Shop and Share Event to Raise Funds for Miracle League Project

Ankeny's Hy-Vee Drug Store is gearing up to help raise funds Thursday for the Ankeny Miracle League Field and All-Inclusive Playground.

On Thursday, Nov. 15, the store will hold a special Shop and Share event. From 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., 10 percent of sale proceeds in the Gift Shoppe and Women's Boutique departments that day will go to the Ankeny Miracle Park project.

What better way to get started on your Christmas shopping than this?

Ankeny Hy-Vee and Hy-Vee Drug Store are "Hero" sponsors of the project, having donated $50,000 to Miracle Park.  The project is a community-wide initiative resulting from a partnership between the City of Ankeny, Ankeny Kiwanis Club, Ankeny Park Board, and the Miracle Park Steering Committee.
