Susie Dyck, 31, of Ankeny won the women's race at the annual Red Flannel Run in downtown Des Moines on Saturday, reports Lance Bergeson of the Des Moines Register. Dyck ran the race with a time of 29:25.46.
Iowa Christian Academy beat Ankeny Christian Academy 47-22 in a Class 1-A first-round regional game at Ankeny last week, reports the Des Moines Register. Gabby Snyder led Ankeny Christian with 13 points.
