[VIDEO] Ankeny K-12 Community Art Show

The Ankeny Art Center is pleased to present our annual Kindergarten through 12th Grade art exhibits for 2014! These exhibits feature student artwork from our local communities and are part of our outreach programming. We love supporting and celebrating the incredible artistic talents of our area youth in our professional gallery setting. This exhibition is sure to make your family's next visit to the Ankeny Art Center one to remember!

Our next exhibition highlights the creativity and imaginative artwork of Ankeny's K-12 students. We believe that familiarizing students with an art gallery will help these children develop more individual self-worth, increased their community involvement and promote culture and diversity. Likewise, children also get the unique opportunity to understand what it's like to become an exhibiting artist. Our vision is to make creative, unique, and innovative art experiences accessible to every person in Ankeny and other smaller, nearby communities.

Exhibit Dates: April 8-May 3
Reception, South Feeder system/AHS: April 10th 5-7pm
Reception, North Feeder system/Centennial: April 17th, 5-7pm

Come and see the outstanding student art works beautifully displayed at the Ankeny Art Center during this show! We strongly believe that unique art experiences will enrich the lives of the public and teach children how to be better members of the community.
