Ankeny Kids Can Get Active Over Spring Break With Soccer Shootout

Fight the boredom over spring break and join in on the fast-paced sixth annual 2-on-2 Indoor Soccer Shootout at . This event is for boys and girls in first through sixth grade and will be held on Monday, March 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (times will depend on the number of teams registered).

Each team is guaranteed two games; first and second graders will play two seven minute halves and third through sixth grades will play two eight minute halves. One substitute player is allowed per team and is highly recommended.

The registration deadline is March 7 and cost is $20 per team. Team members must register together and can sign up online. Players can only appear on one roster. If a player wishes to play in an older age division, they may do so. Each team should coordinate their t-shirt/jerseys with their fellow team members.
