What's more in keeping with summer than kids playing ball and playing on playgrounds?
Ankeny Miracle Park--the project that will enable *all* kids to play ball and play safely on a playground--has an entry in the Make a Difference Through Play Contest. During the five weeks voting has been open, Miracle Park's entry has remained in the Top Ten of 142 entries!
The ten entries that receive the most votes by the close of voting on Saturday, June 15th at *10:59 p.m.* will make it into the contest finals. Then on June 20th, one winner of $25,000 in playground equipment will be announced.

The contest is on Facebook. All Facebook users may vote by clicking on the link below (or copying/pasting it into your server) or via the Ankeny Miracle Park Facebook page (find the link on a post there).

Facebook users may vote once every 24 hours between now and 10:59 p.m. on Saturday, June 15.
According to the last update provided by contest organizers, Miracle Park's entry has received 2,735 votes. To be in the Top Ten as of this past Monday morning, 2,519 votes were needed.
That must mean that Miracle Park's entry ranks higher than tenth... though we were not told what spot within the top ten we hold. Miracle Park had received 2,040 votes one week ago -- so Ankeny, you are voting! THANK YOU!
