Ankeny NW Ash Drive Closed For Safety Hazard

Northwest Ash Drive, from NW Prairie Ridge Drive to NW Wagner Boulevard, is closed due to utility poles and power lines leaning over the street creating a safety hazard. Mid American Energy has been made aware of the issue and crews are on the job and working to fix this situation as quickly and safely as possible. The street will remain closed until the poles are restored. The storm has caused major damage throughout Ankeny, please stay far away from downed power lines.
