Miracle Park's entry in the Make A Difference Through Play Contest remained in the Top Ten with 2,735 total votes as of Monday, June 10th; only the Top Ten vote-getters make it into the finals when Facebook voting ends at 10:59 p.m. on Saturday, June 15th. Everyone can vote once every 24 hours between now and the close of the contest on June 15th. Then on June 20th, the winner will be announced -- grand prize is $25,000 in playground equipment. Ankeny Miracle Park is the Miracle League Field and All-Inclusive Playground project; grading and utilities pipe installation are occurring now on the site, west of Terrace Elementary/behind Hy-Vee in Hawkeye Park.
