Ankeny Police: Alcohol-Related Charges, Burglaries Top Blotter for Feb. 21

Dec. 18

Ryan M. Sheehan, 21, Elkhart, was charged with assault (domestic abuse - simple) following an incident that occurred in the 1800 block of Northwest Pine Road.

Jan. 18

Richard W. Hartzell, 55, West Des Moines, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic incident that occurred at Southeast Hulsizer Road and Shurfine Drive.

Jan. 25

Jody M. Haws, 46, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (third offense) following a traffic stop that occurred in the 200 block of Southeast Third Street.

Cameron J. Neubauer, 20, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred in the 1500 block of West First Street.

Jan. 26

Clayton J. Fischer, 26, Elkhart, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred in the 1000 block of Southeast National Drive.

Brandon A. D. Murray, 23, Des Moines was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of Southwest Irvinedale Drive and Oralabor Road.

Police responded to the 300 block of Harvest Park Drive at approximately 12:03 p.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle.

Police responded to the 2000 block of Winter Park Drive at approximately 2:17 p.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle.

Jan. 27

Jesse S. Doak, 27, Ames, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to have a valid license while operating a motor vehicle following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1100 block of Southeast Oralabor Road.

Bruce D. Head Jr., 36, Saylor Township, was charged with two counts of child endangerment and domestic abuse assault following an incident that occurred in the 6700 block of Southeast Bellagio Drive.

Todd A. Piper, 48, Des Moines, was charged with carrying weapons and operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of Southeast Oralabor Road and Delaware Avenue.

Ryan J. Tukhamen, 32, Saginaw, Minn., was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 400 block of Northwest Ash Drive.
