Ankeny Police Blotter: Abuse, Theft Top Charges for Sept. 25

Sept. 9
Michael D. Chapman, 24, North Liberty, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of Southeast Oralabor Road and Four Seasons Drive.
Brian J. Hamilton, 38, Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault following an incident that occurred in the 4900 block of Northwest Sixth Street.
Rory J. Wadle, 55, Ankeny, was charged with fifth-degree theft following an incident that occurred at Hy-Vee, 410 N. Ankeny Blvd.
A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with sexual abuse following an incident that occurred in the 500 block of Southwest Ankeny Road.
Sept. 10
Samantha L. Jackman, 19, West Des Moines, was charged with fourth-degree theft following an incident that occurred at Kohl’s, 1935 S.E. Delaware Ave.
Rose G. Smith, 60, Ankeny, was charged with fifth-degree theft following an incident at Walmart, 1002 S.E. National Dr.
Police responded to the 900 block of Southwest 28th Street at approximately 7:57 a.m. for a report of a burglary.
Police responded to the 1100 block of Cold Harbor Drive at approximately 8:21 a.m. for a report of a theft from a building.
