Ankeny Police Blotter: Assaults, Burglaries Top Aug. 27 Charges

Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Aug. 10

Joshua W. Jason, 34, Des Moines, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2500 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Aug. 11

Teresa A. Cowman, 35, Des Moines, was charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1700 block of Northwest Greenwood Street.

Aug. 12

Todd E. Jenkins, 41, Des Moines, was charged with third-degree harassment following an incident that occurred in the 700 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Aug. 13

Camille D. Plue, 55, Ankeny, was charged with assault following an incident that occurred in the 1900 block of West First Street.

Police responded to 6925 S.E. Fourmile Dr. at approximately 6:48 a.m. to a report of a burglary.

Aug. 14

James A. Drake, 48, Ankeny, was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident that occurred in the 6700 block of Southeast Bellagio Drive.

Aug. 15

Police responded to Tropical Sno, located in the 1600 block of West First Street, at approximately 3:46 p.m. for a report of a burglary.

Aug. 18

Danielle L. Duggan, 34, Ankeny, was charged with assault following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Southwest Oakmont Drive.
