Jared S. Hagerty, 36, Deep River, was charged with violation of a no-contact order following an incident at 410 N. Ankeny Blvd.
John Y. Lannom, 27, Des Moines, was charged with possession of schedule II narcotic and possession of prescription drugs following an incident at NE 5th Street and North Ankeny Boulevard.

Christian Westberg, 42, Ankeny, was charged with sounds not allowed following an incident at 605 NW 10th St.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with assault causing bodily injury following an incident at 1002 SE National Dr.
Cynthia A. Gipe, 35, Mr. Orab, Ohio, was arrested at an apartment on Northwest College Avenue in Ankeny.

Police responded to 501 NW Scott St. at 2:39 a.m. for a report of attempted vehicle robbery.
Joshua J. Becker, 35, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) and hit and run accident following incidents on SE Delaware Avenue and SE Oralabor Road.
Joseph D. Rittgers, 30, Ankeny, was charged with public intoxication following an incident at 1025 E. 1st St.
Timothy C. Thomas, 25, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) following a stop at 875 S. Ankeny Blvd.

Michael D. Coffman, 26, Ankeny, was charged with possession of marijuana following an incident at 300 NE Frisk Dr.
Christopher R. Janssen, 39, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a stop at 1024 E 1st St.

Police responded to 234 NW Georgetown Blvd. at 8:46 a.m. for a report of attempted vehicle robbery.
Aug. 2
A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with third-degree vehicle burglary following an incident at 346 NW Georgetown Blvd.
Sean D. Tatman, 20, Des Moines, was charged with violation of a no-contact order following an incident at 1006 SE Belmont Dr.
Aug. 3
A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with fifth-degree theft from a building following a July 7 incident at 2135 SE Delaware Ave.
Holly L. Vertz, 37, Des Moines, was arrested on a Polk County warrant following an incident at 2100 S. Ankeny Blvd.
Aug. 4
Police responded to 1002 SE National Dr. at 2:04 a.m. for a report of a vehicle burglary.
