Ankeny Police Blotter: Burglaries, OWIs Top Charges for Oct. 1

Sept. 17
Police responded to the 900 block of Southwest Ordnance Road at approximately 7:53 a.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle and criminal mischief.
Police responded to 1165 S.W. Ordnance Rd. at approximately 1:07 p.m. for a report of a burglary.
Sept. 18
Russell J. Schueller, 22, Dubuque, was charge with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 800 block of East First Street.
Sept. 20
Mark A. Burdock, 55, Pleasant Hill, was charged with violation of a no-contact order following an incident that occurred in the 1900 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.
Brian D. DeCook, 43, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following an incident that occurred in the 400 block of Northwest 18th Street.
Julia N. Nguyen, 45, Des Moines, was charged with attempted burglary following an incident that occurred in the 900 block of Oakbridge Drive.
A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with assault following an incident that occurred in the 500 block of Southwest Ankeny Road.
