Ankeny Police: Drug, Driving Charges Top Oct. 23 Blotter

A summary of incident reports with individual charges provided by the Ankeny Police Department.

Sept. 27

Caleb E. McClure, 18, Ankeny, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident that occurred in the 2000 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Rick J. Gall, 20, Ankeny, was charged with third-degree harassment following an incident that occurred in the 200 block of Southeast Seventh Street.

Berthal C. Green III, 46, Saylor Township, was charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic stop that occurred in the 800 block of East First Street.

John A. Kinsey, 61, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 900 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Sept. 29

Zachary Stephen, 24, Prairie City, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of prescription drugs and carrying a weapon following an incident that occurred at Kum & Go, 165 S. Magazine Rd).

Sept. 30

Joel M. Fox, 18, Ankeny, was charged with carrying weapons following a traffic incident that occurred in the 800 block of Northeast 36th Street.

Police responded to the 100 block of Northeast 47th Street at approximately 1:25 p.m. for a report of criminal mischief and a burglary from a vehicle.

Oct. 1

Robert L. Miller Jr., 45, Des Moines, was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred in the 400 block of Northwest State Street.

Sean S. Moore, 31, Ankeny, was charged with driving with a denied or revoked license following a traffic stop that occurred in the 400 block of Northwest State Street.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested in the 400 block of Southwest School Street on an outstanding Polk County warrant.
