Ankeny Police Blotter: Drugs, Burglary Top Charges for Oct. 11

A summary of incident reports with individual charges provided by the Ankeny Police Department.

Sept. 23

Olafia E. Altman, 66, Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault following an incident that occurred in the 2100 block of Windover Drive.

Travis J. Larsen, 21, Sioux Falls, S.D., was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2100 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

Seth M. Murray, 19, Goldfield, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident that occurred in the 900 block of Northeast Crestmoor Place.

Steve A. Sawyer, 19, Clarion, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident that occurred in the 900 block of Northeast Crestmoor Place.

Kayla A. Siemsglusz, 23, Altoona, was arrested on an outstanding Polk County warrant at the Ankeny Police Department, 411 S.W. Ordnance Rd.

Solomon H. Smith, 24, Ankeny, was charged with possession of marijuana following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Southwest State Street.

Sept. 24

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with criminal mischief following an incident that occurred in the 500 block of Southwest Ankeny Road.

Police responded to the 200 block of Southwest Linden Street at approximately 3:59 p.m. for a report of third-degree burglary.
