Narcotics and Pot Charges Top This Week's Ankeny Police Blotter

A summary of incident reports with individual charges provided by the Ankeny Police Department.

Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Feb. 21

Gavin R. Campbell, 27, Ankeny, was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at the 900 block of Northeast Crestmoor Place.

Cally L. Goll, 22, Ankeny, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at the 200 block of Northwest State Street.

Michael J. Murphy, 20, Van Meter, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following an incident at the 2000 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Feb. 22

Darryl Alexander Xavier Clark, 27, Chicago, Ill., was charged with assault causing bodily injury following an incident in the 2100 block of West First Street.

Bonita K. Harvey, 40, of Lacona, was charged with assault causing bodily injury following an incident in the 1100 block of Southeast Oralabor Road.

Logan E. Moss, 24, Crocker Township, was charged with harrassment of a public officer or employee, interference with official acts, driving with a revoked license and failure to provide insurance following a traffic stop near the intersection of Southwest Braeburn Drive and White Birch Circle.

Anthony G. Stoner, 32, of Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) and driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Northwest College Avenue.

Feb. 23

Jared W. Collins, 40, Bondurant, was charged with public intoxication following an incident in the 3700 block of Convenience Boulevard.

James J. Dixon, 49, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding Polk County warrant following an incident at the 100 block of Southwest Sharmin.

Ke Lu, 32, Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault.

John M. Vaughan, 26, Ankeny, was charged with fifth-degree theft following an incident in the 400 block of North Ankeny Boulevard.

Feb. 25

Suzan C. Hauser, 36, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop near the intersection of Northwest 18th Street and Northwest Lakeside Drive.

Glen P. Sparks, 45, Saylor Township, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident near 1302 N. Ankeny Blvd.

Feb. 26

Desiree J. Burrill, 20, Douglas Township, was charged with fifth-degree theft following an incident in the 1900 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

Police responded to the 100 block of Southwest School Street at about 12:34 p.m. for a report of third-degree burglary of a vehicle.

Police responded to the 2300 block of Southwest Oralabor Road at about 11:47 p.m. for a report of third-degree burglary from a vehicle.

Feb. 27

Keith A. Batson, 48, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident near the intersection of West First Street and Northwest Ash Drive.

Feb. 28

Jordan M. Berry, 19, Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 500 block of Northwest State Street.

Feb. 29

Lewis R. Ekle, 24, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and reckless driving following a traffic incident in the 100 block of Northwest State Street.

Jeffrey W. Marsolais, 32, Elyria, Ohio, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop near East First Street and Northeast Delaware Avenue.

John T. Schuhmacher, 20, Crocker Township, was charged with third-degree burglary of a vehicle following an incident near Southwest Butternut Drive and Sugarberry Court.

Police responded to 2922 S.W. Glenbrooke Blvd. at about 8:03 a.m. for a report of third-degree burglary from a vehicle.

March 2

Cameron J. Privitt, 21, Ankeny, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at 2030 S.W. DMACC Blvd.
