Ankeny Police Blotter: OWIs, Other Alcohol-Related Charges for Oct. 16

A roundup of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and other alcohol-related charges extracted from our recent police blotters provided by the Ankeny Police Department.

Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Sept. 22

Ronald Martin, 36, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (third or subsequent offense) and driving while barred following a traffic stop near the intersection of Southeast Delaware Avenue and Oralabor Road.

Sept. 25

Craig A. Dixon, 54, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of Southwest Oralabor Road and Southwest State Street.

Ronald Martin, 36, Ankeny, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred in the 6700 block of Southeast Bellagio Drive.

Andrea M. Perkins, 33, Ankeny, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred in the 2000 block of Northwest Hickory Lane.

Sept. 26

Jacob H. Woodward, 21, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving left of the center line and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1800 block of North Ankeny Boulevard.

Sept. 27

Wallace J. Franklin Jr. , 26, Beaumont, Texas, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense), leaving the scene of an accident and failure to have a valid license while operating a vehicle intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred on northbound Interstate 35 near mile marker 35.
