Ankeny Police Blotter: OWIs, Other Alcohol-Related Charges for Oct. 26

Oct. 3

Jonathan O. Hanson, 19, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 5000 block of Northwest Second Street, Saylorville.

Jesse Joseph John Negrete, 35, Belmond, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred on southbound Interstate 35 near mile marker 92.

Oct. 6

Stephen D. Skelton, 22, Ankeny, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred in the 1500 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

Oct. 7

Samantha Denardo, 23, Des Moines, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1900 block of West First Street.

Oct. 10

Steven A. Saltzman, 29, Ames, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred in the 1600 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

Oct. 13

Taurean L. Murray Sr., 30, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and violating a no-contact order following an incident that occurred in the 600 block of West First Street.

Oct. 14

Michael I. Liggins Jr., 27, Mason City, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2500 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Oct. 16

Michael J. Lupkes, 44, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, improper use of registration and no insurance following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1500 block of Southwest Oralabor Road.

Jonathan A. Womble, 25, Elkhart Township, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred in the 400 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

Oct. 17

Quentin W. Lee, 25, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 300 block of Southwest Maple Street.
