Ankeny Police Blotter: OWIs, Other Alcohol-Related Charges

July 29

Megan R. Kennebeck, 24, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred in the 800 block of Southeast Magazine Road.

Christopher J. Petersen, 30, Des Moines, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (third offense) following a traffic incident that occurred in the 400 block of Southwest State Street.

Kelly C. Spooner, 22, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred in the 300 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

July 30

Cheryl F. Tudahl, 46, Missoula, Mt., was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred 100 block of Southeast 30th Street.

Aug. 1

Shelby A. Ellingson, 21, West Des Moines, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain control and use of an electronic device while driving following a traffic incident that occurred on Interstate 35 northbound near mile marker 89.

Aug. 2

Clint R. Spurgin, 21, Albia, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred on southbound Interstate 35 near mile marker 92.
