Aug. 6
Robert E. Reese II, 35, no address provided, was charged with domestic abuse assault with injury following an incident that occurred in the 400 block of Northwest Cherry Street.

LaTrease M. Starr, 27, no address provided, was charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of West First and Northwest Linden streets.

Nicholas G. Thompson, 21, no address provided, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident in the 3700 block of Northeast Marissa Lane.
David W. Smith, 19, Des Moines, was charged with two counts of first-degree harassment following an incident that occurred 2100 block of West First Street.
Aug. 10
Marino N. Isom, 36, Des Moines, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop in the 600 block of East 27th Street, Des Moines.
Robin K. Svec, 27, Des Moines, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of Southeast 30th and Maury streets, Des Moines.
Aug. 11
Dorian L. Ballentine, 19, Des Moines, was charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop that occurred in the 600 block of East 30th Street in Des Moines.
David P. Martin, 34, address unknown, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred in the 4800 block of Vandalia Road, Pleasant Hill.
