Sept. 7

Jason M. Mayer, 31, Ankeny, was charged with third-degree harassment following an incident at 1020 E. 1st St.

Sept. 8

Joshua K. Miille, 27, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) and interference with official acts following a traffic stop near 1116 S.E. Mill Pond Ct.

Sept. 9

Joseph M. Rhodes, 20, Ankeny, was charged with driving while barred following a stop near 1002 S.E. National Dr.

Deidre A. Sherwood, 53, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) following a traffic stop near the 100th block of Southwest State Street.

Sept. 10

Laurel L. Haeder, 52, Des Moines, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop on southbound Interstate 35 near mile marker 96.

Dustin L. Hammond, 18, Des Moines, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at 2009 N.W.Β  Hickory Ln.

Devon D. Meyer, 25, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) following a traffic stop near Southeast Second Street and Southeast Trilein Drive.Β 

Sept. 11

Samuel F. Vermulm, 20, Ankeny, was charged with possession of marijuana following an incident in the 500th block of Northeast Delaware Avenue.

Sept. 12

Police responded to 601 S.W. Ordnance Rd. at approximately 7:41 a.m. for a report of burglary and criminal mischief.

Sept. 14

Cody C. Shepherd, 19, Clay Township, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop near the intersection of Northeast Ninth Street and Northeast Delaware Avenue.

Sept. 16

Todd A. Phillips, 44, Knoxville, was charged with violation of a no-contact order following an incident in the 1300th block of Railroad Avenue, West Des Moines.

Sept. 17

Christina N. Bear, 31, Ames, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) following an incident at 1010 S.E. National Dr.

Robert W. Guffey, 79, Monroe, La., was charged with simple assault following an incident at 206 S.E. Delaware Ave.

Thomas J. Oertli, 23, Des Moines, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) following a traffic stop near Southwest Elm Street and Southwest Ordnance Road.

Justin L. Pfrimmer, 28, Johnston, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop in the 3000th block of Southwest 21st Court.

Sept. 19

Brian Pearson, 49, Des Moines, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (first offense) following a traffic stop near the 700th block of Southwest State Street.
