Police were called to Great American Outdoors, 507 S. Ankeny Blvd., at approximately 3:22 a.m. for a report of theft.

Nathan T. Gordon, 30, Des Moines, was arrested on an outstanding city of Des Moines warrant following an incident that occurred at Casey’s, 1010 S.E. National Dr.

Julie L. Gragen, 30, Des Moines, was charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting) following an incident that occurred at Walmart, 1002 S.E. National Dr.

James A. King, 32, Des Moines, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred in the 300 block of Northwest State Street.

Monica R. Martinez, 27, Waterloo, was charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2200 block of West First Street.

James R. Rhoades, 28, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2000 block of Northwest Hickory Lane.

Police were called to Great American Outdoors, 507 S. Ankeny Blvd., at approximately 10:13 a.m. for a report of theft and criminal mischief.

Police responded to the 500 block of Northeast Lawrence Drive at approximately 4:54 p.m. for a report of an attempted burglary.

Police responded to the 500 block of Southwest Walnut Street at approximately 4:54 p.m. for a report of a burglary.
