Ankeny Police: Burglaries, Theft, Outstanding Arrests Top Blotter for Feb. 22

Jan. 28

Derrick E. Duffey, 30, Centerville, was arrested on two outstanding warrants following an incident that occurred in the 2400 block of Southeast Tones Drive.

Jaylani D. Whiteside, 28, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident that occurred in the 1900 block of West First Street.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with criminal mischief following an incident that occurred in the 500 block of Southwest Ankeny Road.

Police responded to the 200 block of West First Street at approximately 1:31 p.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle and criminal mischief.

Police responded to the 700 block of Southwest 28th Street at approximately 5:26 p.m. for a report of a burglary.

Jan. 29

Robert S. McClish, 45, Ankeny, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle following an incident that occurred in the 400 block of Northeast Delaware Avenue.

Jan. 30

Derek A. Quijano, 41, Des Moines, was charged with driving with a revoked license following a traffic accident that occurred in the 800 block of Southwest Irvinedale Drive.

Jan. 31

Porfirio Sanchez, 43, Des Moines, was charged with fourth-degree theft following an incident that occurred in the 1900 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

Feb. 1

Police responded to the 2700 block of Southeast Peachtree Drive at approximately 2:15 p.m. for a report of a burglary to a vehicle.
