Ankeny Police: Child Endangerment, Assault, Drug Charges Top Blotter for March 8

Feb. 9

Jerry J. Ryan, 48, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred on Interstate 35 northbound near mile marker 91.

Feb. 10

Jean Beloved, 48, Ankeny, was charged with lascivious acts with a child following an incident that occurred in the 200 block of Northwest Linden Street.

Mary A. Bishop, 31, Des Moines, was charged with simple assault following an incident that occurred in the 2100 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Thomas W. Henckel, 29, Ankeny, was charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic stop that occurred in the 3000 block of Southwest Arlan Lane.

Feb. 11

Samantha Andersen, 24, Ankeny, was charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of West First and Northwest Kline streets.

Christopher P. Bell, 36, Des Moines, was charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic stop that occurred in the 400 block of Northwest 18th Street.

Chris M. Stansbery, 47, Chariton, was charged with assault (domestic abuse - simple) and child endangerment following an incident that occurred in the 1600 block of Southeast Oralabor Road.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1400 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

Feb. 12

Isreal Adams, 35, Ankeny, was charged with child endangerment causing bodily injury following an incident that occurred in the 2900 block of Northwest Ninth Street.

Timothy C. Bain, 35, Des Moines, was charged with violation of a no-contact order following an incident that occurred in the 1000 block of Southeast National Drive.

Samuel R. Deroy, 19, Crocker Township, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident that occurred near the intersection of Southwest Third Street and Irvinedale Drive.
