Ankeny Police: Drug Charges, Burglary Reports Top Oct. 30 Blotter

Oct. 5
Sabreen S. Alhameed, 20, Ankeny, was charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic stop that occurred 1700 block of West First Street.
Oct. 9
Stephen J. Sommer, 49, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop that occurred in the 700 block of East First Street.
Police responded to the 200 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue at approximately 7:32 p.m. for a report of a burglary.
Oct. 10
Benjamin C. Dorr-Lacombe, 23, Ankeny, was charged with possession of prescription drugs following an incident that occurred in the 2800 block of Southwest Polk City Court.
Eric A. Sandoval, 20, Ankeny, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Southwest Arlan Drive.
Darrell M. Ziems, 46, Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault following an incident that occurred in the 900 block of Southeast Judy Drive.
Oct. 11
Police responded to the 500 block of Northwest Fifth Street at approximately 9:15 a.m. for a report of a burglary.
Oct. 12
Tera R. Woods, 35, Des Moines, was charged with driving while barred following a traffic stop that occured in the 400 block of Southwest Ordnance Road.
A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with fifth-degree theft (shoplifting) following an incident that occurred at 1935 S.E. Delaware Ave.
