Ankeny Police: Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant Burglarized, Other Incidents for Feb. 12

Jan. 17

Shane R. Aufenkamp, 35, Ankeny, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1200 block of Southeast Cortina Drive.

Jan. 20

Joseph M. Earp, 32, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred near the intersection of West First and Northwest Linden streets.

Jan. 22

Sarah E. Meyers, 22, Ankeny, was charged with assault causing bodily injury following an incident that occurred in the 1200 block of Southeast Belmont Drive.

Police responded to Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant, 202 S.E. Delaware Ave., at approximately 9:17 a.m. for a report of a burglary. Signs of forced entry were present, according to the incident report.

A juvenile was charged with operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent following an incident that occurred in the 1900 block of Southeast Summerbrook Court at approximately 2:49 p.m.

Jan. 24

Robert M. Gilliam, 24, Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault with a deadly weapon and obstruction of emergency communication following an incident that occurred in the 3400 block of Southwest 35th Street. The victim received injuries resulting in visible broken bones, according to incident report.

Jan. 26

Kyle M. Johnson, 36, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred in the 2300 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Police responded to the 1500 block of Green Park Circle at approximately 10:14 a.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle.
