Ankeny Police Issue Warrant for Second Suspect in Walgreen's Robbery, High-Speed Chase

Police are looking for a West Des Moines woman for her alleged involvement in the Nov. 29 incident, a release issued by the Ankeny Police Department said.

The Ankeny Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for a woman who was allegedly involved in a robbery of an Ankeny Walgreen's.

Police are looking for Ivy J. Menne, 38, of West Des Moines, for her connection to an incident that occurred on Nov. 29 during which she and Michael L. Rodemeyer, 35, also of West Des Moines, allegedly robbed the Walgreen's located at 901 N. Ankeny Blvd. The pair then fled the scene, police said, leading officers on a high-speed chase that ended near Elkhart.

Rodemeyer was apprehended by police during the incident.

Menne is wanted on charges of fifth-degree theft and also for fleeing the scene of the crime. Anyone with information on Menne's whereabouts should contact the Ankeny Police Department at 515-289-5240.
