Ankeny Police: Neighborhood Burglaries, Drugs Top Reports for Nov. 14 Blotter

Oct. 19
Shara R. Olson, 26, Des Moines, was charged with possession of a Schedule IV substance and driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic stop that occurred near Southwest Third and Scott streets.
A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop that occurred 300 block of Southeast Magazine Road.
Police responded to the 700 block of Southeast Dalbey Drive at approximately 9:39 a.m. for a report of a burglary.
Oct. 20
Ronnie D. Todd, 39, Des Moines, was charged with domestic abuse assault with a weapon following an incident that occurred in the 2300 block of Southwest Oralabor Road.
Police responded to the 1900 block of South Ankeny Boulevard at approximately 11:42 a.m. for a report of a burglary.
Oct. 21
Brandon S. Cory, 26, Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana, two counts of failure to affix a drug tax stamp and driving with a revoked license following an incident that occurred in the 1100 block of East First Street.
Richard M. Herrman, 37, Jewell, was charged with domestic abuse assault following an incident that occurred in the 1600 block of Southeast Oralabor Road.
A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with fifth-degree theft (shoplifting) following an incident that occurred in the 1200 block of Southeast 16th Court.
Police responded to the 2800 block of South Ankeny Boulevard at approximately 10:31 p.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle.
