Ankeny Police: Thefts, Drug Charges Top Feb. 6 Blotter

Jan. 14

Ronald S. Slaghter, 56, Des Moines, was charged with third-degree theft following an incident that occurred at Walmart, 1002 S.E. National Dr.

Jan. 15

Daniel M. Murphy, 26, Des Moines, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 400 block of Northwest School Street.

Anthony M. Williams, 40, Ankeny, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief following an incident that occurred in the 500 block of Southeast Sharon Drive.

Jan. 16

Raymond S. Craig, 26, Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident that occurred in the 6700 block of Southeast Bellagio Drive.

Kyle A. Jepson, 18, Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic incident that occurred in the 300 block of Southeast Oralabor Road.

Jan. 18

Melani K. Crees, 47, Berwick, was charged with fifth-degree theft following an incident that occurred at Walmart, 1002 S.E. National Dr.

Cale D. McMartin, 19, Ames, was charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age, open container, harassment of public officers or employees and interference with official actos following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of North Ankeny Boulevard and Northwest Heritage Avenue.

Police responded to the 2300 block of Southwest Oralabor Road at approximately 8:57 a.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle.

Jan. 19

Jonathan M. Anthofer, 19, Ankeny, was charged with operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2400 block of Northwest Maple Street.

Sarah K. bergeson, 37, Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault following an incident that occurred in the 600 block of Southwest Southlawn Circle.
