Ankeny Police: Thefts, Sexual Abuse Charge Tops Blotter for Feb. 26

Feb. 3
Blain H. Johnson, 37, Des Moines, was charged with attempted burglary and second-degree criminal mischief following an incident that occurred in the 1500 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.
Anthony R. Marshall, 40, Des Moines, was charged with fifth-degree theft following an incident that occurred in the 1800 block of North Ankeny Boulevard.
Police responded to the 1900 block of Winter Park Drive at approximately 11:14 a.m. for a report of an attempted burglary.
Feb. 4
Holly A. Staab, 32, Saylor Township, was charged with interference with official acts at the Ankeny Police Department, 411 S.W. Ordnance Dr.
Police responded to the 1400 block of Southwest Tradition Drive at approximately 8:58 a.m. for a report of a theft.
Police responded to the 1100 block of Southwest 28th Street at approximately 2:25 p.m. for a report of a burglary.
Feb. 5
Nicholas D. Clevenger, 20, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following an incident that occurred in the 2500 block of Northwest Third Street.
Johnnel Conner, 39, Ankeny, was charged with driving while barred - habitual offender following a traffic incident that occurred in the 100 block of Southeast Oralabor Road.
Joseph Patten, 40, no address listed, was charged with third-degree sexual abuse following an incident that occurred in the 200 block of Northeast Delaware Avenue.
Feb. 6
Kaylin M. Linke, 21, Ankeny, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident that occurred in the 2000 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.
