Glenn comes to Ankeny after serving six years with the Marshalltown school district.

The Ankeny school board has hired a Marshalltown educator to be the district's next director of special programs.

The board approved the hiring of Lisa Glenn at a meeting in April. Glenn's first day with the district will be July 1.

“Lisa Glenn stood out as a perfect fit for our district,” said Susie Meade, the district's assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction. “She has strong experience and background in areas served by special services."
