Ankeny School District Parents Have Until Friday to Take Survey
As part of efforts to improve every component of Ankeny Schools, the district is conducting a comprehensive survey of all current parents and guardians. The last day to take the survey is Feb. 17.

As part of efforts to improve every component of Ankeny Schools, the district is conducting a comprehensive survey of all current parents and guardians. This survey measures levels of parent engagement and satisfaction, and is being conducted as part of a nationwide study that measures and compares a variety of factors across school districts.
Parents and guardians of current Ankeny students who have not already completed the survey are asked to please go online and take the survey found on the home page of the district website. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes.

A paper copy of the survey may also be requested by calling 515-965-9600 or by visiting the district office at 306 S.W. School St.
The survey is administered by the National Center for School Leadership. By using a third party, and because the survey does not ask for personally identifying information, parent responses will be anonymous.

Parents should note, however, that responses to any open-ended questions in the survey could be public under Iowa Open Records law. Parents should not include personally identifying information in any responses.
The survey will be open through Feb. 17. The district hopes that with the input of our parents an guardians, we can all work to make our district a better place to learn. Results of the survey will be shared later this spring.
