Ankeny Schools Dismissing Early Due to Winter Weather

Ankeny schools are releasing students two hours early today in preparation for the winter storm heading our way.
Other closings and cancellations include:

- All evening athletics and activities are postponed.
- There will be no parent-teacher conferences this evening
- YMCA after-school care to be held in regular facilities until 4:30 PM.
- All evening practices are cancelled.
- There will be no evening drivers’ education.
- No high school SOS this evening.
- All Community Education classes are cancelled.
- All buildings will be closed for the evening.
- The YMCA at Northview will remain open.
- Busses will run their normal routes, just two hours earlier.
Classes will dismiss according to the following schedule:
School Building Student Dismissal Elementary Buildings (K-5) 12:55 pm Parkview & Prairie Ridge Middle Schools (6-7) 1:45 pm Northview Middle School (8-9) 1:35 pm Ankeny High School (10-12) 1:40 pm Afternoon Pre-School Cancelled
